六日 - my class handout, JDIC and Wikipedia all have this as むいか. ろっか isn't recognized by the IME either.
十九日 - similarly, I thought this was じゅうくにち, not じゅうきゅうにち?

For example, we could say 私は彼女に聞いたながら、朝ご飯を食べた。 Or we could say 考えないながら、意地悪な言葉を言うでしょう。

So is it really right to say "we must use the stem form of a verb" before ながら？

I also googled and found thousands of instances of Japanese using plain form verbs in front of ながら.  So maybe the absolute should be removed?  >.>  Thanks! ^_^

I found a small mistake in Causative and passive forms. That is in both Exception Verbs tables, the caption "Positive" should of course be "Plain".

And then I have also a suggestion: When I read this lesson for the first time (that is already almost 4 years ago!), I was really confused by the passive conjucation form of ru-verbs. As we all know, they look exactly the same as the potential forms... So maybe that's worth mentioning somewhere in the lesson to help the future generations of Japanese learners to understand this faster?

Actually I've already took the freedom to add that one in the Finnish translation (I'm going to send that and a couple of other translated lessons to you propably by the end of this week), because I had to change the text heavily anyway. The Finnish and English passive are essentially different, so I needed to rewrite that portion of the lesson. For example, Finnish passive form expresses that "the executor" of verb's action is vague/unknown and we don't have the (grammatical) agent (that "by someone" thingy-thing).

Then another thing. Do you want me to add the new header (links to forum, blog and link + search) to the translations, too? If so, is, for example, the forum folder located in your root folder? (So is the reference <a href="/forum/">Forum</a>)

Note the vi vs. vt codes that indicate intransitive vs. transitive.

In this section I think you simplified sentence order a bit too much.

In particular, it claims that anything before the verb can come in any order, which implies that this can be done with topics marked by は (since it doesn't say you can't). In fact, the example sentences do rearrange "私は" in this way.

However, I think Standard Japanese does require the topic to come first in the sentence (please correct me if I'm wrong). It only makes sense after all: you can't start talking about a topic before you actually introduce the topic. (I know that conversational Japanese does sometimes say things like 何だ、それは？, but I'm talking about "grammatical" Japanese.) Saying something like 公園で私はお弁当を食べた。 strikes me as saying something like, "At the park -- oh, wait, we're talking about me here -- I ate a boxed lunch." It's not something you'd ever say unless your thinking was a bit muddled and you're trying to patch it up mid-sentence.

There's also the point that just because you can arbitrarily rearrange stuff doesn't mean you should, and there's definitely a conventional word order (高橋さんがお酒を飲んだ is far more common than お酒を高橋さんが飲んだ). So the guide is correct in saying that you will probably be understood even if your word order is arbitrary, but if you want to speak natural Japanese, you have to do more than that, whereas the guide gives the impression that you don't.

This implies that you  must read 何で as なにで when it means "by what means" and なんで when it means "why", but this doesn't seem to be the case. Japanese for Busy People Vol. 1 has this dialogue exchange (Unit 3, Lesson 7, Exercise X):

鈴木「チャンさん、いつ大阪支社に行きますか。」
チャン「木曜日に行きます。」
鈴木「なんで行きますか。」
チャン「飛行機で行きます。」

Here なんで clearly means "by what means", not "why". Both the audio and the text (the text in the book itself is all kana) unmistakably say なんで, not なにで. Now, it might be the case that なにで is much more common -- I certainly wouldn't know -- but surely なんで is still correct.
