Topic: Line translation attempt

君が笑う度に記念日だからふたりいつも隣りで

From what I understand, the last two clauses would go something like

"... that's why the two of us should always be side by side"

As for the first part, individual lookup of terms yields "to laugh" and "every holiday". I don't know how to link those, if those are even the right translations.

I was also wondering if it would be okay to solicit feedback for posted song translations (this line is from one) in this forum, or if anyone could point me to a more appropriate venue.

君が笑う度に記念日 would be " anniversaries for the days which you're laughing/happy(happy is the implication)"

The more diligent you are the faster you learn,the road to learning is filled with endless pain but the pain will take you to success.It might seems like endless pain and failure but success might be closer than you think.

記念日 - a holiday, memorial day, a day to commemorate a special event

Combining the two parts, I come up with:
"Every time you laugh it's a day to treasure"
