In the first or second paragraph you might want to mention that most katakana words are borrowed from English. You mention that katakana is used for foreign loan words, and then jump to English speakers expecting katakana words to sound like English. You jump over the point where they have any logical reason to assume that katakana words come from English, and not, say, German.
