Hey Tae Kim, I've been

Hey Tae Kim,
I've been spending enough time now studying to be able to read hiragana and katakana as well as I can now. I've also spent about a week studying kanji, trying to memorize 10 daily. Unfortunately, I have no idea how I should learn them. Should I try to memorize everything about the kanji, including On & Kun readings, meaning, stroke order, etc? Or only learn what applies at the moment? This really is the only thing at the moment keeping me from reading this guide and it is making me pull my hair out. Thanks...
