Exemples
私はジャムの代わりに蜂蜜を使います。 I substitute honey for jam.

牛乳の代わりにワインはいかがですか。 Will you drink wine instead of milk?

今朝はコーヒーの代わりに紅茶を飲んだ。 I had tea instead of coffee this morning.

石油の代りにアルコールを使うべきだ。 We should substitute alcohol for oil.

犬の代わりに猫を飼いたい。 I want to keep a cat instead of a dog.
