Probably one of the first words you’ll learn is \u300c\u3059\u308b\u300d which is the verb meaning “to do”. This is a very useful verb to know for obvious reasons. This is especially true in Japanese because many verbs are simply a noun combined with this verb.<\/p>\n
For instance, the verb, “to research” is simply the noun for “research”\u3000\uff08\u7814\u7a76\uff09 plus \u300c\u3059\u308b\u300d.<\/p>\n

Another difference between \u300c\u3059\u308b\u300d and \u300c\u3084\u308b\u300d, is that \u300c\u3084\u308b\u300d can be used as a way to give things or do something for somebody while looking down at that person<\/a>. \u300c\u3059\u308b\u300d does not share this property.<\/p>\n
