Here are some of the hardest kanji I&#8217;ve run into over my years studying Japanese. If you learn these words, you can be confident in the knowledge that you&#8217;ve already tackled the hardest kanji (that I can think of).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size:250%;\">\u8e8a\u8e87<\/span>\uff08\u3061\u3085\u3046\u30fb\u3061\u3087\uff09 &#8211; hesitation<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size:250%;\">\u6726\u6727<\/span>\uff08\u3082\u3046\u30fb\u308d\u3046\uff09 &#8211; dim, hazy<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size:250%;\">\u6182\u9b31<\/span>\uff08\u3086\u3046\u30fb\u3046\u3064\uff09 &#8211; depression<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size:250%;\">\u701f\u6d12<\/span>\uff08\u3057\u3087\u3046\u30fb\u3057\u3083\uff09 &#8211; elegant; trim<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The most difficult kanji is \u300c\u9b31\u300d with a total of 29 strokes. With a sufficiently small font size, it just looks like a black scribbly thing.<\/p>\n<p>And here is my vote for the sneakiest kanji <i>ever<\/i>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-size:250%;\">\u66f0\u304f<\/span>\uff08\u3044\u308f\u30fb\u304f\uff09 &#8211; to say<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Fun stuff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a short post just for fun.
